Archon
Rulers or enforcers of the material world who keep souls trapped in ignorance and prevent their return to the divine realm.
The Archons are servants of the Demiurge, cosmic jailers who maintain the prison of material existence. They rule the planetary spheres and create obstacles for souls attempting to ascend to the Pleroma (divine fullness). Archons can possess or influence humans who remain unconscious, using them as enforcement mechanisms for the false reality. In film, Archons appear as agents, enforcers, or authority figures who maintain the status quo and attack anyone who awakens: the Agents in The Matrix, the Strangers in Dark City, or institutional forces that crush dissent.
